    Peta Gray has a background in professional theatre and sociolinguistics. She has a particular interest in teaching schoolphobic teenagers. She also specializes in helping Japanese students adapt to life in the UK. Sheila Levy taught French and English to secondary school students and adults in the north of England before becoming an EFL teacher in 1986. She started up the Community Liaison Scheme at the Cambridge Academy of English, where she has been Director of Studies since 1994. Mario Rinvolucri is a founding member of Pilgrims and has worked with them as an EFL teacher and teacher trainer since 1974. Alan Maley is currently a freelance consultant, and Series Editor for the Oxford University Press Resource Books for Teachers series.
